My Story : AngelusNoir

AngelusNoir Studio is the home of my illustrations, textiles and curiosities—a place where mythology, nature and imagination intertwine. Inspired by windswept coastlines, shadowed forests, folklore, fairy tales and the strange beauty of the natural world, I create artwork that feels part dream, part memory and part cabinet of curiosities.
I come from a family of artists, and creating has always been as natural to me as breathing. My days are spent painting, drawing, mixing colours, making handmade watercolours, sketching in graphite and ink, and exploring new ideas through both traditional and digital media.
Every walk becomes a treasure hunt. A pale feather, an abandoned eggshell, a smooth stone shaped by the sea, the colours of moss after rain—these small discoveries become the seeds of future collections. Alongside them are the influences I return to again and again: Norse and Celtic mythology, folklore, Gothic romance, fairy stories, natural history, music and poetry.
The worlds I create are inhabited by moonlit gardens, wandering spirits, curious beasts, wild roses and forgotten relics. They are love letters to wonder, mystery and the enduring magic hidden within ordinary things.
Welcome to my Cabinet of Curiosities.
Stay awhile.
